Marcus Decimus Valerianus is a man whom values honor, loyalty and discipline above all things. If he promises something to you, you can trust it will be completed, if you promise something to him, you better do it, or you will be killed. Marcus is a soldier, and he is the general of what would be classified as shock infantry, you would use your strengths and mobility to smash through enemy lines, demoralize the enemy troops, and make them retreat due to the sheer fear that the attacks may instill on the enemy.

Marcus is a career soldier, his family had also been career soldiers, and since a young age was trained to be the perfect soldier and nothing more, war was the what his family had done for generations. Marcus has worked his way up the ranks of the army and has become a force that would be reckoned with, before a battle, he would sometimes offer the enemy a chance to surrender, but that is your only chance to surrender with him, once he gives that offer, he will not give it to you again, if you lose the battle, you will be shown no mercy and he will kill every last one of you without a second thought.
