Personality: Kira can be quite cold and distant from others. And he can be very untrusting of others at times. But under his tough exterior, he has a kind heart and has a strong urge to protect those that he feels are his friends. There are also times where he appears to be lazy and unmotivated, but if he has a real problem with someone or something, he's not afraid to speak his mind.

Background: Kira was born into a poor family. His mother and father both worked extremely hard for long hours a day just to barely make ends meat. His parents didn't even think they should have a child due to the fact that they were barely getting by, and a child would just make matters worse. However, they soon had a child, a boy that they named Kira. Kira's parents did their best to support themselves and their son, but eventually, there just wasn't enough money for all of them to live off of. Regretfully, his parents put him into an orphanage at the age of 2.

Kira lived in the orphanage for about a year, until he was adopted by a nice couple, who couldn't have children of their own. His adopted parents took good care of Kira, treating him as their own flesh and blood. Since Kira was quite young when he was put into the orphanage, he has no memory of his birth parents, no names, no faces, nothing. However, Kira soon embraced his adopted parents as his real family and they all lived peacefully for years. His adopted mother was quite intelligent so she taught Kira many things, including grammar, math, and a bit of science. His adopted father was a blacksmith, so he trained Kira to be strong and have a fiery spirit. Everything was going well for Kira, not knowing what he truly was.

At the age of 10, Kira's whole life changed in an instance. During full moons, Kira always felt strange, usually feeling weak and a little sick. However, one full moon when he was 10, he felt completely different, his whole body began to burn. He felt like his flesh and muscles were being ripped apart, he wanted to die from all the pain. Hearing his screams of agony, his adopted parents rushed into his room to check on him. They burst open the door just in time to see Kira's body transform. Before their very eyes, he took on his wolf form, for unbeknownst to him or his adopted parents, Kira's bloodline was that of werewolfs. Out of fear, Kira's adopted father grabbed a knife and stabbed at Kira, hitting him in the right shoulder, just below his neck. Kira howled in pain as he ran from his home and adopted family. Kira ran as fast as he could, but he was losing blood fast. He entered the forest, where he began to stumble and feel light headed. Kira felt he was on the verge of death and fell unconscious.

However, he didn't die. He woke up a few days later on a bed in an unfamiliar house. He was back in his human form, and his right shoulder, where he had been stabbed, was bandaged up. He tried to move, but a sharp pain went through his body and he collapsed back on the bed, as he let out a small groan. Then a strange man appeared at his side, checking his wound to see if it had reopened. Too shocked to speak, Kira just looked at the man, the man that had saved his life. Once he found it in himself to talk, Kira spoke to the man. The man explained to Kira how he found him and fixed him up. This strange man also told Kira that he was a werewolf. Kira and the mysterious man, claiming his name to be Merrick, continued to talk and Merrick revealed himself to also be a werewolf.

Kira stayed with Merrick until his wound was completely healed, and on Merrick's insistence, Kira remained with Merrick even after he was healed. As time passed on, Merrick became sort of a mentor to Kira, teaching him to control his wolf blood and his animal instincts. Not only was Merrick a mentor, but he also became a new father figure to Kira. Under Merrick's tutelage, Kira learned to control his wolf half, but Merrick also taught Kira to hunt and survive in the wilderness. During this time, Kira also learned how to use low level wind magic and spells. Yet again, Kira found a new home, a place that he believed was safe. Unfortunately, history is doomed to repeat itself.

At age 16, a group of 4 bounty hunters knocked on Kira and Merrick's door, saying they were gonna claim the bounty on Merrick's head. Merrick told Kira to run, but at that moment, Merrick was stabbed in the gut with a silver sword. Kira watched as blood poured from Merrick's abdomen as well as from his mouth. In a fit of hatred and anger, all of Kira's training disappeared. He transformed into his wolf form, and in a blind rage killed 3 of the 4 bounty hunters. The fourth dropped a torch he was carrying and ran back in the direction of the city. Kira was consumed in ripping apart the man who stabbed Merrick that he didn't notice the house burning down around him. Merrick, with his last bit of energy was able to call Kira's name and snap him back to his senses. Desperately, Kira tried to save Merrick, but it was no use. Merrick was pinned down by a heavy beam and couldn't move. He handed Kira a gold necklace and told him to live on, live for the both of them.

With his eyes filled with tears, Kira took the gold necklace and ran out of the burning house, moments before it collapsed. Kira soon stopped and looked at the necklace, the word "Vulfram" written on it. Kira took up the last name Vulfram, in honor of Merrick. Kira continued to live his life in the forest, where he built a small cabin for himself, hunting for food and selling part of what he killed. Kira always wears the gold necklace, hoping to carry on the spirit of Merrick with him, as he began to live a somewhat normal life. Now Kira is 22 years old, and he has lived a peaceful life, but how long will that last? For even now, a bounty on his head is slowly beginning to rise.

Dangerous consequences will follow when politicians and rulers forget moral principles. Whatever we have faith in, ethics is the foundation for all beliefs.
